Auburn’s Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology (AERS) undergraduate degrees include a major in agricultural business and economics as well as three minor designed to compliment a variety of majors in the agricultural sciences and other academic and professional fields of study.

The minor in natural resources economics and environmental policy provides an in-depth look at how policy decisions and market mechanisms impact environmental quality and resources.
MINOR IN RURAL AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT
The minor in Rural and Community Development teaches students about how to use community based research to resolve environmental problems; make food and agriculture more sustainable; and pursue vibrant, equitable growth in small towns and across the countryside.
