PhD in Applied Economics

The PhD in Applied Economics involves faculty from the Department of Agricultural Economics and Rural Sociology, Department of Economics, and School of Forestry.

Courses include applied production economics, demand analysis, international economics, resource and environmental economics, and other electives. There is an oral exam in the field of specialization and proposed dissertation topic plus final oral dissertation defense.
