As a 2013 alumna in agricultural communications, Ashley works as Web Division Manager and Social Media Director for Ranch House Designs in Wharton, Texas. She is responsible for the sales, planning and execution of all website projects. Most of her day is spent communicating with clients to develop their vision for their websites. From there, she creates a design and layout plan and work with a team of graphic designers to turn the client’s vision into reality. Once the website has been designed, she works with Ranch House’s content division to write and edit information for each website. Ashley also works with clients to plan social media campaigns, such as promoting events and advertising their business on Facebook.

In July of 2013, Ranch House Designs began working with Kane Beef, a major beef processor in Corpus Christi, Texas. Ashley currently serves as the account manager for the rebranding of Kane Beef and launch of their new branded beef program called Texas Star Beef. For this project, Ashley helped redesign the logo, website and promotional materials for Kane Beef, such as the packaging, in-store point-of-sale materials, a new website and much more.

One of my favorite Auburn memories was going on the Animal Science Spring Break tour to Texas in 2011. We caravanned from Alabama to Louisiana, and then all over the state of Texas in five mini vans. I learned so much on that trip and made some of my closest friends as well. When I started my job at Ranch House Designs, I was actually surprised to see that a bunch of the places we visited like R.A. Brown and Graham Land and Cattle, were clients of ours. So fun to see that trip come full-circle and apply to my post-graduate life.
